As Napoli prepare to face Steaua Bucharest in the Europa League this evening, it seems that coach Walter Mazzarri is already keeping one eye on Sunday’s epic clash at the San Paolo against a resurgent Roma. No less than seven players look set to sit out tonight’s game in Bucharest including Slovakian superstar Marek Hamsik and Argentinian playmaker Ezequiel Lavezzi.

Corriere Dello Sport also reports that defender Salvatore Aronica, former Liverpool midfielder Andrea Dossena, captain Paolo Cannavaro, Argentine Hugo Campagnaro and Michele Pazienza will also be rested ahead of the weekend’s big clash in Naples. Hamsik was hoping to play tonight for a chance to claim his 50th senior career goal but now he may have to wait a few more day’s to achieve that milestone.
