Inter President Massimo Moratti has told the club website that his team have started to look at the transfer market and are assessing potential targets, transfer fees and wages.

The most talked about transfer rumour of the summer in Italy so far has been about Udinese’s Alexis Sanchez, Moratti picked his words carefully on this subject:

“Let's say that the player with whom we are speaking, and I don't know the odds of our success, is certainly Sanchez, because we've been speaking about it for a long time.

"Also because he's a player with many qualities and because we've opened a certain kind of discussion with Udinese. Let's say 60% - not that he's definitely coming - but compared to others there is a chance.”

The Nerazzurri do have other targets in mind it seems and the Inter President spoke of Roma’s Daniele De Rossi who was linked with a move to Inter by newspapers yesterday:

“De Rossi, in my opinion, is not a bad idea at all, but I don't believe we have initiated any kind of negotiations with Roma, also because the club is going through a reorganisation and I read that there has been a postponement of another month.”

One man who Inter have been linked with over the past year is Palermo’s Javier Pastore, however, it seems that this is a player who will not be joining the Nerazzurri next year:

“We all know that Pastore is excellent, he also played well against us in the final, but I don't think that negotiations are possible.”
