Taddei: 'Roma's new owners must give their all'
Roma’s Rodrigo Taddei spoke to Sky Sport regarding a number of subjects, including the new American owners, the Sensi family and Francesco Totti.
The Brazilian, who has been with the capital club since 2005, says the Lupi tifosi deserve the best and that the new owners must deliver:
The Americans? I hope they do well. These fans deserve the best and they now have to give their best.”
Taddei then spoke about his contract and the Sensi family, who left their lineage to the club behind with Rosella Sensi quitting the Giallorossi.
“I have renewed my contract until the end of 2014 and I feel good at Roma. For Roma, the Sensi family symbolised everything, they conveyed many emotions to the fans.
"They allowed me to realise a dream that I had since I was a young boy. My memory of Franco Sensi is when he hugged me after we got off the plane when we won the Coppa Italia in Milan against Inter.”
On the subject of Roma legend Totti, Taddei was full of praise for the player, noting he still has a place in the team:
“Totti? He is a champion, he is untouchable. He can play for many years to come at Roma. It is right to have a mix between younger players and those with experience.”
Taddei will be back in training with his team-mates shortly under new Coach Luis Enrique who has promised to introduce a new style of play and a Spanish flavour to the side.
