Barcelona have finally concluded the signing of Udinese winger Alexis Sanchez to end their almost two month long pursuit of the player.

A statement on the Catalans website confirmed Sanchez's arrival at the club for a transfer fee of €26 million which could go up with added variables of another €11.5 million.

The Chilean will sign a five-year contract with Barcelona and is due in the city on Monday for his medical before officially penning his new contract. He will likely be presented to the fans in the following week.

It must be stated however, that the transfer fee is surprisingly well below the initial figures being stated by Udinese, but the added variables will be triggered depending on player appearances and the club's success.
