Marteen Stekelenburg is the latest to join the Roma revolution, agreeing to a four year contract. For the goalkeeper, the contract is worth €2.7 million a season and expires on June 30th, 2015.

According to the club’s official website, the deal is worth €6.3 million and may increase by €1 million depending on the completion of certain sporting performances.

Stekelenburg said he was looking forward to making the switch: “Finally the deal is done. This club is breathing football, in all aspects.

"I did not have time yet to see the stadium, but I've already seen the training complex, which looks good. All facilities are there, everything is optimal, all beautiful.”

The Dutch international is a product of the famed Ajax youth system and made his professional debut for the former European Champions in 2002.

He has made 40 appearances for his country, appearing at both Euro 2008 and the 2010 World Cup.
