Barcelona Coach Pep Guardiola has returned to Italy to visit his former club Brescia as they encountered Ascoli in a Serie B encounter during this weekends international break.

Guardiola's decorated playing career is most closely associated with his time with the Catalan giants but he also had two spells with the Lombardy side. It was here where the most testing moment of his career in football occurred as he tested positive for an banned substance after an encounter with Piacenzia - although he was later cleared.

Welcomed with open arms by all at Brescia; the Leonessa's Curva had a special message for European Cup winning coach which read: "Pep - Pride in the past, dream for the future."

Unfortunately for the Spaniard his visit could not lift the performance on the pitch as Brescia fell to a single goal defeat at the hands of visitors from Marche.
