Former Juventus Coach Fabio Capello has suggested that his former club are in the heart of the title race and have an extra advantage being outside of European competition this season.

Speaking to Tuttosport the English national side Coach suggested the Bianconeri are in a strong position to fight until the end of the season. "The championship race is long but there are three who will fight until the end. Milan has a wider range of players with a strong commitment and are used to being at the top. Napoli must be trained to manage the fatigue and the tension that comes from the European Cup and because Juventus do not play in this they are one of the favourites."

Having lead Milan to the European Cup, Capello one of the most decorated coaches in European football also spoke of his I Rossoneri's decision allow the departure of Andrea Pirlo to Juventus. "Milan made a choice in letting him go, congratulations to those who decided to take a chance [Juventus] on him."
