Manolo Gabbiadini will not be leaving Atalanta in January, confirmed technical director Pierpaolo Marino.

The 20-year-old is highly regarded in Italy and is believed to be on the radar of Juventus. The striker has starred for Ciro Ferrara’s Italian U21 side, netting ten goals in 13 appearances.

Marino confirmed on Radio Sportiva the Bergamo club has no intention of selling their rising star: “Gabbiadini will remain here even if a great offer is received. In Bergamo we know how to let our young players mature despite being under close watch from others.”

Juventus are believed to be planning a summer bid for the player, in the hope that Atalanta’s position on the matter will change by then.
