Gasperini refutes Parma claims

Gian Piero Gapserini has ruled out the rumours linking him to the Parma bench next season.

Gasperini has been out of a job since being sacked by Inter in September, only months after taking over from Leonardo.

However, he refuses to buy into the claim he is being lined up next season by Ducali President Tomasso Ghirardi to take over from Franco Colomba.

“Me at Parma? It is something said without any foundation,” Gasperini told stadiotardini.com.

“Parma has a good Coach who is doing a good job. It is the wrong time to talk about what will happen next season and also out of place and lacking respect. It is not positive for anybody.”

Parma currently lies 13th, with 19 points.
