Chievo has set their sights on strengthening the team with the capture of two Slovenians in the January transfer window, according to tuttomercatoweb.

Domenico Di Carlo has been working with sporting director Giovanni Sartori and the duo are aiming to sign unsettled Palermo midfielder Armin Bacinovic. Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini is prepared to let the player leave, but in return Chievo are willing to offer Luca Rigoni.

Meanwhile, the Flying Donkeys are also after Robert Beric, a 20-year-old striker. The Maribor player has been valued at €1.5m by his club, but Chievo will look to secure his signature with a loan now and permanent signing in June.

Palermo is also chasing Beric and has past experience is working with Maribor, having signed Bacinovic and Josip Ilicic from the club.
