Parolo not thinking about transfer talk

Tuesday 10 January 2012

Cesena midfielder Marco Parolo claims he is not thinking about a possible move away from the club in January.

The player has been linked with a number of clubs, including Lazio and most recently Fiorentina, however the player told Corriere dello Sport he is committed to the Cesena cause.

“I do not want to think about these things, otherwise you run the risk of being distracted. I have a great rapport with [Cesena President Igor] Campdelli, if there is any news we will discuss it together like we always have. But one thing is for sure, as long as I stay here and wear this shirt I will give 100% for Cesena.”

Cesena currently lies 18th as it looks to avoid relegation for the second successive year, meanwhile Parolo has featured prominently this season, appearing 16 times and scoring once.
