Floro Flores confident following Udinese victory over Lecce

Thursday 02 February 2012

Udinese were victorious at home to Lecce 2-1 on Wednesday night, with goals from new loan signing from Juventus, Michele Pazienza, and striker Antonio Di Natale.

Antonio Floro Flores, playing alongside 'Toto' Di Natale in attack, provided the assist for his winning strike, following on from Floro Flores' goal at the weekend against Juventus.

And the 28-year-old now hopes he and his side can continue the good form into the business end of the season:

"I'm enjoying myself in this new position, I work a lot as it is a new role for me. For now i'm doing well, one assist and a goal," he told Tuttomercatoweb.

"Now all the points start to mean more. Lecce showed that they were the opponents we expected: a good team that plays fast and exciting football. This result is very important. We'll play one game at a time and not look at the league table, because on Sunday we have another difficult challenge against Fiorentina."
