Italy Calcio was set up in summer 2007, as football italiano.co.uk, with the aim of supplying news, opinion and information on Italian football. Since then, the popularity of Serie A football has increased with channel 5's coverage, and the site has looked to contribute to this.

Tim is currently living in Milan, keeping the site up-tp-date with what is happening in the Peninsula. A Politics graduate, originally from near High Wycombe, Bucks, he became founder and editor of the site when he set it up in 2007 with the help of fellow Serie A fan, M.G. d'Antonio from Milan. An italophile, Tim loves all things Italian, ranging from food to football, and speaks Italian.

Puds

As a recent marketing graduate from Aston University, Puds is an expert in e-marketing and advertising, having previously worked for MSN and is soon to move back to London to join one of the country's leading media agencies. A lover of football throughout the world, Puds is a qualified referee and takes an interest in the business side of running a football club as well as events on the pitch. Puds has joined Italy Calcio to take up the role of marketing director because he feels Serie A will soon be considered the most exciting league in Europe once more. As such Puds regularly writes for the site giving a global viewpoint on the Serie A.
