Lampard to seal San Siro switch tomorrow

MILANO, 28 JUNE If reports coming out originally from France are to be believed, then Frank Lampard will be joining the Nerazzurri in the next day or two. This would mean the reunion between Jose Mourinho and his favourite Blues player during his reign at Stamford Bridge, and the move of one England and the Premierships best players to the Peninsula.

It is reported that Inter's money men have already found an agreement with Chelsea over the midfielder, which would see him move for around 7 million pounds. The player is currently in Italy on holiday in Positano, but the Corriere dello Sport says Lampard could meet Inter President Massimo Moratti tomorrow in Versilia, Tuscany, where the deal would be all but completed.

In this meeting the England midfielder is expected to put pen to paper on an initial 4 year contract earning him 7.3 million euros a year, around 5 million pounds. A possible delay to the transfer could come if Chelsea hold on to the player until they find a replacement.
